Biodynamically Farmed

Fairbairn Ranch

Situated on 22 acres, Fairbairn Ranch’s Redvine sandy loam soils, unique to Mendocino County, create the perfect environment for award-winning Syrah grapes. This fabled ranch on the southeastern bench lands of the Russian River watershed’s Sanel Valley was Initially planted in 1986 and farmed organically until Jerry Yates, Mendo’s beloved Biodynamic viticulturist, helped transition it into a place that hums with life. It’s been farmed with Biodynamic principals ever since and its 20,000 vines annually produce an average of 70 tons of this popular Rhone varietal.
